Bologna Marathon - 01/03/2026

The Termal Bologna Marathon is a major event where sport blends with the history, culture, art, music, and good food of one of Europe's oldest cities.

The distances of the races organized by the Italian Athletics Federation, part of the World Athletics circuit, include a Marathon with its 42.195 km, the 30 km, and a Half Marathon of 21.097 km.

Additionally, there is a 5 km city run around the historic center of Bologna and a Kids Marathon.

The Bologna Marathon includes three days of celebration in Piazza Maggiore, one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, providing all participants several opportunities to visit and discover a unique city rich in culture and places of interest.

Getting to Bologna is easy thanks to the G. Marconi Airport, with many connections, including direct ones, with major European and international cities, and to the train station, one of the main railway hubs of Italy.
