HypER 5 Marathon is born: the major marathons of Emilia-Romagna united in a single tourist and sports project
The main marathons of Emilia-Romagna – Bologna, Parma, Ravenna, Reggio Emilia and Rimini – join forces and give life to a new and ambitious project: HypER 5 Marathon, the initiative that combines sports, tourism, and enhancement of the territory.
Promoted by Sport Valley Emilia-Romagna together with the organizers of the five events, HypER 5 Marathon offers runners a special challenge: to complete the five marathons of the region within five years, receiving a “digital passport” for each participation and, at the end of the journey, a commemorative medal that brings together the logos of all the events.
In addition to the symbolic recognition, the project offers concrete benefits to participants: discounts, free entries, cultural experiences, and dedicated tourist packages for marathoners and their companions, with the aim of turning each race into an opportunity to discover Emilia-Romagna.
The initiative is born to enhance the sporting and welcoming vocation of the region, promoting slow and sustainable tourism that crosses art cities, villages, hills, motor valley, and unique food and wine traditions in the world.
The Termal Bologna Marathon is proud to be part of this shared journey, which strengthens the synergies between the events and consolidates the image of Emilia-Romagna as a true “land of marathon runners”.
