Culligan is the official water of the Termal Bologna Marathon for the second consecutive year! In 2025 we avoided the consumption of over 80,000 plastic bottles and in 2026 we are ready to do even better.
From February 27 to March 1, over 10,000 athletes will have the opportunity to hydrate without plastic bottles, thanks to Culligan filtered water: good, safe, and sustainable. Here are the concrete initiatives designed by Culligan for the marathon weekend:
- In the race pack that you will pick up along with your bib number, you will find the foldable and reusable cup Speedcup x Culligan, to take with you on race day and reuse infinitely.
- The Culligan filtered water will be available at the 9 refreshment points along the competitive race route. We invite you to use the foldable cup to reduce waste. Volunteers will be ready to fill it on the go, so as not to slow down your pace.
- At the end of the race, every runner will receive a reusable aluminum water bottle that can be filled infinite times, thanks to the Culligan hydration stations located in Piazza del Nettuno and at our stand in Piazza Maggiore, open to everyone.
