The fourth edition of the Termal Bologna Marathon running event is scheduled for Sunday 2 March, which includes four routes calibrated for different distances: 42.195 km for the marathon, 30 km for the “30 Km dei Portici”, 21.097 km for the 21st edition of the Run Tune Up, Bologna’s historic half marathon, as well as 5 km for the non-competitive Tecnocasa City Run.

Specific traffic measures have been adopted in connection with the events, with vehicle transit bans that, depending on the road, will affect different time slots between 4 am and 4 pm.
The ban does not apply to emergency vehicles, official service vehicles following the event, and vehicles accessing private property. The closures will be coordinated by Local Police officers.

The route, starting from via Irnerio at 9 am for the 21 km race (all the others will follow), includes the arrival in Piazza Maggiore after crossing the eastern part of the city and the historic center.
