The five main marathons of Emilia-Romagna – Bologna, Parma, Ravenna, Reggio Emilia, and Rimini – have joined forces to launch an ambitious new project: HypER 5 Marathon, an initiative that combines sport, tourism, and regional promotion.

Promoted by Sport Valley Emilia-Romagna together with the organizers of the five events, HypER 5 Marathon invites runners to take on a unique challenge: complete all five marathons within five years. Each race completed adds a stamp to a personal digital passport, and finishing the full series rewards participants with a special commemorative medal featuring the logos of all five races.

Beyond the symbolic value, the project also offers exclusive benefits to participants: discounts, free admissions, cultural experiences, and tailor-made travel packages designed to let runners and their companions fully discover Emilia-Romagna.

The initiative aims to highlight the region’s strong sporting spirit and hospitality, promoting a slow and sustainable tourism experience that connects art cities, historic villages, rolling hills, the Motor Valley, and world-famous food traditions.
