The third edition of the Bologna Marathon will also mark the debut of the Tigotà Kids Marathon, a special event for children aged 4 to 10. On Saturday, March 2nd, at 11:00, the little ones will have the opportunity to don running attire and experience the thrill of a fun motor skills race in the splendid Piazza Maggiore. This is the same square where the adults will cross the finish line on Sunday.

The symbolic marathon course, dedicated to the 7-10 age group, will be 420.195 meters, while participants aged 4 to 6 will run a half marathon of 210 meters! The event, endorsed by the Municipality of Bologna and the CSI, Provincial Committee of Bologna, provides a significant opportunity for children to enjoy a day dedicated to movement and to promote running and sports in general. These activities are seen as beneficial for well-being, fostering togetherness, and encouraging outdoor experiences that reconnect with nature and culture.

Participants will receive a race package containing fantastic gadgets from the name sponsor TIGOTÀ and LOACKER, the official Joma event shirt, a "finisher" medal, and even a mini final refreshment. The festive day of running will be made even more enjoyable with the presence of LUNA FARM mascots.

Registrations, limited in number, are open online at www.bolognamarathon.run and at active hotspots in the 7 Tigotà stores in Bologna until February 28, 2024.

Subject to availability, registrations will also be possible on Friday, March 1st, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturday, March 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at the race office in Piazza Maggiore (Palazzo D'Accursio). Here, participants will also receive their participation kits and shirts.
