March 4th and 5th: the Bologna Marathon celebrates Lucio Dalla
The Bologna Marathon 2023 is dedicated to the great Lucio Dalla, a Bologna artist famous all over the world.
The official medals of the Maratona, the 30km of the Portici and the 21km Unipol Move Run Tune Up remember him with the iconic hat with glasses and with a verse of the Italian national anthem sung by the artist on the occasion of the Beijing Olympics of 2008 entitled "One man can win the world"

In addition to the medals, which will go around the necks of all the runners who cross the finish line in Piazza Maggiore on Sunday 5 March, the Bologna Sport Marathon has set up various initiatives, in collaboration with the Lucio Dalla Foundation and Bologna UNESCO City of Music .

The organizers have prepared a "gem" that everyone will be able to attend for free, both at 18:00 on Saturday 4 March at the Paladozza and at 10:30 on Sunday 5 March in Piazza Maggiore: the affectionate musical tribute of the Sicilian band iBeatiPaoli .
This group has managed, in more than twenty years of activity, to transform the culture, contradictions and thousand nuances of Sicily into music, in an innovative and authentic way, combining tradition and experimentation, so much so that the great Lucio Dalla, who wanted them by his side for various collaborations.
The Bolognese singer-songwriter defined an iBeatiPaoli concert as "the landing of a U.F.O.", fascinated by the band's ability to amaze and conquer any audience.
It will be the very first official performance of iBeatiPaoli since the release of their album, scheduled for March 3rd.
In the album, in addition to seven original songs by the group, two songs by Dalla: "Siciliano" and "Com'è profound il mare", in two totally rearranged versions by iBeatiPaoli and sung together with the late singer-songwriter, who lent himself to the recording of unreleased voices.
But that's not all.
The ten artists selected thanks to the initiative "If I were an angel" (SE IO FOSSI UN ANGELO (L.
