Tecnocasa Bologna City Run, solidarity parades in the historic center

It's time to put good intentions and solidarity under the Christmas tree, the right occasion is to participate in the Tecnocasa Bologna City Run, the non-competitive 5 km run or walk scheduled during the Bologna Marathon on Sunday 2 March 2025.

Registrations are open today for a great celebration of solidarity, it will be a non-competitive run or walk of about 5 km in the center of the Emilian capital, an opportunity to experience a day of sport and well-being in the name of sharing with family and friends.
This initiative, created in collaboration with the CSI Bologna Committee and with the support of the Banca di Bologna, will allow everyone to wear the red jersey of solidarity and lend a hand to the weakest, thanks to the donation that the charities participating in the event will receive for each registered person. The route of the Tecnocasa Bologna City Run
On Sunday, March 2, the historic center of Bologna will be peacefully invaded by the joy of at least 3 thousand participants, even in the company of their faithful friend, about 5 km all in the city center. Bologna will open its doors to show itself in all its beauty, in the red reverberation of walls and towers, among noble palaces and historical monuments, among buildings where you can breathe the ancient knowledge of the thousand-year-old university and old buildings in bright colors, along the porticoes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which have made the Emilian capital famous throughout the world.

Bologna Marathon is a highly inclusive event thanks to the various events in which it is possible to participate, everyone can feel like a protagonist, from amateur competitors to families and children. For competitive runners, the marathon, the queen and Olympic distance with its 42.195 km, the 30 km of the Portici and the Run Tune Up, a historic half marathon of 21.097 km now in its 21st edition.
Walking enthusiasts or those who want to compete on shorter distances can take part in the Tecnocasa Bologna City Run, while for the little ones there is also the Tigotà Kids Marathon on Saturday 1 March.

Participation is open to all, without the obligation to be a member or have a competitive medical certificate.
Registrations are open – CLICK HERE – until 26 February 2025 or when the maximum number of 3,000 registered runners is reached. If there are bibs available, it will be possible to register on Friday 28 February from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm in Piazza Maggiore. Registration includes a participation bib, a donation of 5 euros to one of the participating charities, a t-shirt, a welcome pack to be collected at the Expo Tecnocasa Area of ??the Marathon Village in Piazza Maggiore, assistance along the route and a final refreshment.
