After the success of the first edition held on 3 October 2021 in Monterenzio (BO), the Villaggio della Salute Più returns to host the Bologna Marathon in Trail scheduled for Sunday 22 May 2022.
The distance of 30 km with 1000 D+ will be challenging but, at the same time, really fun, thanks to a very varied technical route, immersed in an unspoiled natural environment and capable of offering spectacular views of the Emilian Apennines.
This FIDAL competition, in addition to being the CSI regional championship, will be a qualifying race for the UTMB World Series and will give a point for the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) ranking.
The distance of 14 Km and 300 D +, which can be registered both as a competition of the Italian Athletics Federation, and as a non-competitive race, instead presents a faster path and also suitable for less trained runners, an excellent opportunity to get closer to the world of racing in nature.
One of the novelties scheduled for next May 22nd is certainly the “6Km Village Run”, a recreational motorbike for families and walkers that will take place entirely in the beautiful natural amphitheater of the Salute Più Village.
